Mr Madubuata expressed hope that the police would apprehend the suspects to face prosecution.
“The estimated value of products mopped up during the December 15, 2024, operation is N5 billion,” said the NAFDAC chief.
She said that the regulatory agency made the process easier and more affordable for small and medium scale enterprises in the state.
“We have invited the supermarket’s management for further investigation and reaffirm our commitment to protecting public health,” the agency stated.
Mrs Adeyeye advised Nigerians to ensure that goods have NAFDAC registration number before purchase.
