She said the industry had sustainably created hundreds of thousands of jobs for Nigerians.
According to him, the cashew value chain is among the crops being promoted by the ministry to enhance food security and promote economic growth.

Africa produces about 57 per cent of the total world production of cashew, yet Nigeria processes only about 10 per cent.
Mr Anga said that it was a win-win situation for the country if cashew was adopted as part of economic diversification owing to its huge potential.
