The executive director of MURIC, Ishaq Akintola, labelled the report as an imperialist agenda in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja.
“President Muhammadu Buhari lived up to his billing by delivering a free, fair and credible election, and his legacy is assured.
The exercise was not only a horrendous phenomenon on the psyche of Nigerians but a fleeting nightmare.
“Do you know why he won, he got the money, he had the best national organisation that worked for him and the ground game,” he said.
The bill also recommends life imprisonment for “aiding and abetting same for the actual offender, upon conviction.”
