Mr Oladejo said the effort was sequel to the strategic directive of the Chief of the Naval Staff, Emmanuel Ogalla, to ensure a safe and secure maritime environment.
NDLEA spokesman Femi Babafemi stated on Sunday in Abuja that the drugs, weighing at least 5.2kg, were intercepted on Thursday on Gbongan-Ibadan Road in Osun.
He said that the Nigerian Navy, FOB, got an intelligence tip-off of suspected smuggling activities within its area of operations.
Mr Umoru said after searching, a total of 50 sacks of the suspected products, valued at about N70 million, were recovered.

Mr Oramalugo also said 70 packs of tramadol 225mg and 260 diazepam tablets, 5mg, were found by the patrol team on June 5, abandoned along a footpath in Kamba-Rijiyar Maikafi bush.
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), FCT command, seized 2,265.677g of drugs between January and March in the territory.
The spokesman said the police had recovered two pump action guns, 11 live Cartridges, handcuffs, a leg chain and jackets from the suspects.
NDLEA seized 460.34kg of illicit drugs in Akwa Ibom in 2022 and arrested 348 suspects.
NDLEA says it nabbed 18,940 people for drug-related offences in the last two years but could only successfully prosecute 3,324.
