He said the fund was for purchasing 100,000 bags of rice, 40,000 bags of maize and fertilisers.
“We wish to state categorically that the register was developed and compiled using transparent and participatory processes.”
The governor said Mr Shettima directed NEMA to release the grains immediately, adding that states would be involved in the mechanism.
