“It should not stop here after the workshop, I hope you all will go back to your states and implement what you have learnt,” he said.
The returnees comprised 119 mostly pregnant females and 170 males with three female children, three male children, and three infants.
He said efforts were ongoing to prevent much havoc, especially in the low-lying communities along the states likely to be affected.
Northern Cameroon has recently borne the brunt of heavy rainfall, leading to rising water levels in the Lagdo dam.
He said the federal government approved the items to assist the 7,811 households to cushion the effect of the flood disaster.

Mr Ahmed advised the beneficiaries to make proper use of the items to improve their socio-economic conditions.
Mrs Ahmed said the special intervention was meant to cushion the effects of the disaster on the victims.
Mr Ahmed said this when Gov. Dauda Lawal of Zamfara paid him a visit on Friday in Abuja.
He said the council commended the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) for their interventions.
