The National Human Rights Commission has called for reforms in correctional centres, highlighting the dire conditions across the country.
He said complaints ranged from brutal attacks in the North-East to rising cases of sexual violence and mass displacement caused by natural disasters.
The NHRC coordinator in Kano, Shehu Abdullahi, stated this in an interview on Friday.
The calls were made in Abuja at a two-day workshop on National Dialogue on Business and Human Rights.
Mr Ojukwu sought the immediate arrest and prosecution of those responsible for the killings.
The National Human Rights Commission in Kano says it received 131 human rights violation complaints in January.
Mr Alola-Alfinti said the cases were on the increase due to sustained enlightenment campaigns on human rights violations in the state.
NHRC boss Tony Ojukwu emphasised the commitment in a statement by Olayemi John-Mensah, ACCI spokeswoman, on Saturday.
