The managing director explained that the safety jackets would largely be distributed to the fish farmers in the state.
Mr Sadiq-Yelwa disclosed that the Bago-led administration had provided more than 1,000 tractors to farmers in the state to enhance productivity.
“In Plateau, we trained over 350 young people in various trades, including animal fattening, painting and POP services, poultry and fish farming,” said the N-HYPPADEC MD.
N-HYPPADEC has urged Kogi riverine communities at the banks of Rivers Niger and Benue to relocate to the upland due to impending floods.
He said the takeover was to ease access to portable water in Bida town and its local government area.
