Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, has announced a $3 million investment over the next two years to strengthen routine immunisation and primary healthcare in Kaduna.
According to him, the MNCHW is aimed at reducing morbidity and mortality rates in mothers and children under five years old in Nigeria.
The executive director of NPHCDA, Muyi Aina, said this in an interview on Friday in Abuja.
Mr Jibril assured of the committee’s preparedness to excel in the given task.
Mr Aina said HPV is the most common viral infection of the reproductive tract.
He said that the drugs would help in providing timely medical assistance to pilgrims throughout the journey.
Mrs Munduate urged the state government to ensure utilisation of the donated items.
“Measles is a viral infection that’s serious for small children but preventable by a vaccine.”
Director of Disease Control and Immunisation in the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, Dr Bassey Okposen, said 70 percent of Nigerians were vaccinated against COVID-19
He underscored the need for extensive mobilisation and sensitisation efforts, particularly through the involvement of NTLC.
