“Lagos, Oyo, and Delta paid the lowest petrol retail price at N590.95, N592.19 and N599.38 respectively.’’

It stated that electricity supply increased to 5,909 (Gwh) in the second quarter of 2023 from 5,851 (Gwh) recorded in the year’s first quarter.
“The lowest price was recorded in the North-Central at N2,131.78,” the NBS stated.
It stated that the April 2023 price of N254.06 represented a 3. 87 per cent decrease over the price of N264.29 recorded in March 2023.

The average retail price per litre of kerosene rose by 160.48 per cent from N450.66 in February 2022 to N1,173.89 in February 2023.
According to the report, this followed a growth of 2.25 per cent in the third quarter of 2022 and 3.98 per cent in the fourth quarter of 2021.
