Mr Igbokwe, a former Lagos State commissioner, said Nigeria had lost a great leader with the death of Clark.
He urged the new executives to leverage their position to strengthen Igbo families and unite the country.
“We are aware of hunger, but we cannot let our country go on fire. I want to appeal to the youths to take it easy,” Mr Idimogu added.
“Guided by the Holy Spirit of God, Ndigbo have forgotten that they fought a deadly civil war from 1967 to 1970,” said Mr Madu.
The governor called on President Bola Tinubu to release Nnamdi Kanu to quicken the much-needed healing process in Nigeria.
“It is an opportunity to reflect on the past year, reposition, and move forward in the new year,” Mr Buhari said.
