Mr Nwoko said the tragic outcomes caused by malaria had a potential effect on most vulnerable citizens.
The couple, who married in 2019, already have two sons and continue to celebrate their love publicly on social media.
Mr Nwoko noted that he took the decision in the interests of his constituents.
The lawmaker said that despite Mr Komolafe’s disclosure, the neglect and marginalisation of Delta North’s oil-producing communities were glaring.
