Mr Usman noted that a “president who openly shies away from promoting his national currency sends a dangerous message to the world and to his citizens.”
She implored Nigerians to keep faith with the party as it was the most people-centred among the nation’s leading political parties.
The communique stated that the meeting was duly convened by statutory NEC members based on the party’s constitution.
Ms Usman said, “We must call out the failures of the APC administration.’’
The party reaffirmed Mr Obi’s right to contest the 2027 elections should the ongoing coalition efforts fail.
Ms Usman expressed satisfaction with the judgment, which found her appeal meritorious.
The trial did not hold as scheduled on Wednesday following the absence of the prosecution and defence counsels.
The EFCC preferred a 17-count charge bordering on N4.6 billion money laundering against the defendants.
Mr Fani-Kayode is charged alongside former minister Nenadi Usman, former ALGON chairman Yusuf Danjuma, and others.
