The tribunal is due to deliver judgment any moment now on the petition filed by the APC challenging the victory of Governor Abba Yusuf.
The Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Baba Halilu-Dantiye, said the governor was distancing himself from the “unguarded utterances”.
“Any judge that allows himself to be used and collect bribes and pass judgement that is not right…must choose between his life and the bribe money he collected.”
A coalition of lawmakers across political parties has promised to respect APC’s zoning decision of the house leadership ahead of the June inauguration.
“He moved to Lagos. And I am his landlord. I no de worry am. I just dey wait for the day I beat am for election.”
I think he will make some name now. But he may be able to make it only in 2027, 2031. But 2023? Too early,” Mr Aliyu said.
