The Federal Road Safety Corps has confirmed the death of one person in a lone crash on the Umuahia-Bende Road, Abia.
Mrs Ezeoma said that preliminary investigations suggested that the crash was caused by a burst tyre and speeding.
The FRSC commander said the injured victims were rushed to the hospital for treatment while the personnel rescue team took the deceased to the mortuary.
FRSC said the bus belonged to the Church of Christ. According to her, one of the uninjured victims said they were coming from a crusade in Enugu.
She said that the bus carrying 19 people rammed into a truck.
