The infection is often mild or without symptoms, but can sometimes be severe and life-threatening.
According to the agency, the country also registered 676 cases of Lassa fever in nine weeks.
The NCDC stated also that a total of 105 cases and seven deaths had been confirmed in 10 states of the federation.
NCDC says the cumulative case of Lassa fever in the country since the beginning of the year is 975, with 177 deaths from 26 states, with a case fatality ratio of 18.2 per cent.
“It will inform public health decision-making and facilitate the development of diagnostics, therapeutics, and vaccines,” said the NCDC director-general.
