Mr Ghali stated that the commission would continue to enforce the law.
He said the operation demonstrated the NCS’ determination to prevent Nigeria from becoming a dumping ground.
According to Mr Maiwada, the Chinese Customs officials acknowledged recent reforms within the NCS.
Mr Maiwada called for vigilance, noting that credible information will be rightly communicated to interested Nigerians.

Mr Bashir said the confiscated items included 36,835 litres of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), hidden in 1,219 jerry cans and 24 drums of various sizes.
Mr Umar said the items were seized through increased patrols, intelligence-led operations.
Mr Otunla emphasised the significance of Nigeria-Benin economic ties.
The commanding officer said the shipment of scales was believed to be destined for a port in Lagos for smuggling out of Nigeria to markets in Asia.
