FG has commenced training information technology administrators from ministries, departments and agencies to protect government networks against unauthorised access.
Mr Bamigboye said a notice of investigation was duly served on April 1, in line with the commission’s procedures.
The FCCPC said that Meta had also shared the users’ data without consent and abused its market dominance.
The Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 provides a legal framework for protecting personal information and the practice of data protection in Nigeria.
