According to the NEITI boss, a total of $13.2 billion dollars was remitted from the sum to the federation account.
Mr Uzodimma welcomed the clarification given on the three per cent operating cost of the oil and gas companies.
He said, “NEITI reports also show that 619 million barrels of crude valued at $46 billion were stolen in the period 2009 to 2020.″
This positive trend, he said, reflected a continuation of the upward positive trajectory observed in the sector over the past five years.
The federal, state and local governments shared N4.37 trillion from the federation account as statutory revenue allocations between January and June 2023.
NEITI reiterated the need to deploy, use and share beneficial ownership information and data.
The reports covered 69 companies and 12 government agencies, and one state-owned enterprise for the oil and gas reports.
Subsidies from 2005 to 2021 was equivalent to the entire budget for health, education, agriculture and defence in the last five years.
NEITI is auditing 66 oil and gas companies and 14 government agencies.
