The Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, Lagos chapter, has intensified efforts to strengthen young workers for leadership roles.
The Rivers chapter of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees has concluded arrangements to embark on a seven-day warning strike.
He said the union would not hesitate to deploy all the instruments within its power to ensure the right things are done.
Mr Inuwa stressed the need for thorough amendments to enable the local councils to exercise their functions based on constitutional provisions.
“I met with the NUT and the area council chairmen.’’
