He said pilots and engineers were frequently forced to extend their duty times due to flight delays.

Mr Keyamo urged the airline operators to develop stable and reliable communication channels to ensure passengers receive cancellation notices.
The official said that the approval had been communicated to the ministry of foreign affairs for further necessary actions.
According to him, regional operations could commence this year due to the infrastructure in place.
“It is pertinent to note that both the NCAA and the NSIB have access to all submitted reports.”
NAMA has conducted validation flights on instrument flight procedures in international airports nationwide.
