The MOMAN boss urged the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) to invest in infrastructure for data gathering.
Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva, said the government was addressing all hiccups affecting fuel scarcity.
Kimchi Apollo, a spokesman for NMDPRA, stated this on Thursday in Abuja via a statement.
NNPC said the 140 trucks of 33,000 litres of petrol were dispatched between January 28 and February 3.
PENGASSAN has urged the Buhari regime to revoke the licences of oil marketers selling above the approved pump price of petrol.
Filling stations in the state capital Osogbo and environs are selling between N280 and N300 per litre.
The pump price of PMS is being sold currently between N178 and N180 per litre inside Abuja city centre while the outskirt retail stations dispense fuel between N200 to N250 per litre.
“People should be rest assured that very soon, this thing will be over,” said the NMDPRA boss.
IPMAN said there had been an increase in depot price of fuel from N148.17 per litre to N178 per litre since last week.
“I have directed them to start evacuating the product immediately to filling stations,” said NMDPRA boss.
