Alhassan Doguwa (APC, Kano) has called on Nigerians to hold governors responsible for the country’s problems, not just the federal government.
“Democracy, as you all know, is not a destination but a journey, and it takes our resolve, our intent, our commitment to be the custodians of the will of the people.”
Mr Ajaero noted that Mr Tinubu’s pronouncement and NNPC’s action “is like holding a gun to the head of Nigerian people.”
He described the existing rift between the two organisations as embarrassing, saying it was fueled largely because of misconceptions and suspicion.
