Mrs Tinubu donated N100 million to support the activities of the organisation’s staff and volunteers.
Mr Gyale said that while accidents might not be completely eliminated, the goal was to save lives.
He said billions still lack safe sanitation, with 892 million practising open defecation.
Mr Abdullahi said the training was done in collaboration with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).
Secretary-General of the Nigerian Red Cross Society, Dr Abubakar Kende, hailed China’s generous support.
“This year’s flood prediction is very high, so my appeal to the government is not to wait until floods happen before rescuing victims,” said Mr Bagudo.
The Nigerian Red Cross Society stated that its volunteers were actively on the ground in the state.
The Nigerian Red Cross Society has distributed dignity kits to 110 women of reproductive age and girls with disabilities in Nasarawa.
Mr Igwe said that it was crucial to educate the communities on the importance of waste reduction and proper disposal.
The commissioner said the Red Cross must be responsible for the task and not abuse the privilege.
