TRCN registrar Josiah Ajiboye restated the council’s commitment to improving the teaching profession in the country.
While assuring that “Nigerian teachers under his watch will get their due reward,” Mr Tinubu emphasised the importance of education.
He promised to ensure better welfare for Nigerian teachers.
The award comes with a one-month learning tour of the Scandinavian countries including Finland.
He said there are plans to employ teachers into the public service starting from level 8 as against level 7.
