The House of Representatives has directed the Central Bank of Nigeria, NIRSAL, and SMEDAN to restructure the repayment system for the recovery of the COVID-19 loans.
Mr Kure denied the claims that the borrowers were not informed by the bank before the deductions.
The controller general of NCoS, Sylvester Nwakuche, said the MoU signified more than infrastructure provision.
It was not immediately clear why President Bola Tinubu approved the detention of Mr Masanawa without first suspending him from office.
“A lot of them have shown interest, and I am hoping that maybe, by tomorrow, they will form themselves into different clusters in the value chain of several products.”
“The federal government is committed to moving thousands of Ekiti residents out of poverty and unemployment in 2021,” a SMEDAN official said.
