Mr Audu said the dental profession has made significant progress and plays a pivotal role within the NMA and the country’s healthcare delivery system.

NMA has commended Governor Abba Yusuf for renovating over 200 primary healthcare centres and upgrading some PHCs and cottage hospitals to general hospitals.
Mr Aiyedatiwa said the state was also currently upgrading its 105 primary healthcare centres
Mr Nwoko said that there was a need for the movie industry in Nigeria to invest in more quality TV series.
“This administration will not play with workers’ welfare. We will continue to treat them fairly,” he said.
The chairman of the association, Charles Ugwuanyi, made the call in an interview.
He said every member has a vital role to play in shaping the future of the profession, association and health system.

NMA advised citizens to embrace health insurance, noting that it facilitated access to care, better health outcomes and improved productivity.
