The minister said the award would spur him to do more towards the development of the health sector and Nigeria.

While he met with members of the Nigeria Medical Association on, President Muhammadu Buhari asked striking doctors to return to work to save lives.
“It takes a lot of funds to train a medical doctor, nurse or even a laboratory technologist or physiotherapist. So, we want to retain them here.”
The president recently returned from London where he spent two weeks for a medical check-up.
