BUA Cement rose by 3.82 percent to close at N74.75.
The loss was driven by price depreciation in large and medium capitalised stocks.
Also, the market capitalisation of listed equities declined by N11 billion to N21.025 trillion from N21.036 trillion reported on Thursday.
Julius Berger, Livingstone Merchant Bank and Cornerstone Insurance led the gainers chart in terms of percentage.
