CYMS has intensified advocacy for youth inclusion in governance, credible elections and full local government autonomy, as it rolls out a comprehensive national programme for 2026.
He urged the youth chiefs to champion community development through education.
The minister also reiterated his commitment to supporting resolutions that would emerge from the discussions.
“I want to tell you that this is much appreciated.’’
“We are in the same shoes. There are other areas; labour, for example, can advocate for good governance; it’s not just all about minimum wage,” he added.
“The government is desirous of ensuring that the youth at any point in time are well positioned for leadership.’’
