The Value Chain Development Programme states that no fewer than 18,000 rice and cassava farmers in Ogun have benefited from its intervention.
“I came to see my brother, Governor Makinde, to discuss issues of shared interest. Ogun was once part of the Old Western Region, where Ibadan served as the capital,” he said.
The commissioner said the ministry had received an alert about the first two cases of cholera on June 12, which, according to her, tested positive.
The owner of the farm and a 17-year-old Togolese lady were also reportedly kidnapped.
