The incident occurred on Monday in Keonjhar, a district in Odish
On Monday afternoon, heavy rains accompanied by lightning strikes hit many parts of the state.
The Friday train collision had resulted in the killing of 275 people, with 1,200 sustaining injuries.
The crash in the eastern city of Odisha killed over 280 passengers and left at least 900 injured on Friday.
“It was a devastating scene, because the train was at high speed, full speed,” said Sudhanshu Sarangi, the chief of Odisha’s fire service, who had arrived at the scene.
Though women have been inducted into the Indian armed forces since the 1990s, they have only served as officers.
