Justice Uwani Abba-Aji, while delivering the judgment, dismissed the appeal against Mr Otti’s victory.
The five-man panel adjourned the case for judgments.
“I believe we would still have won” without Mr Obi, said Governor-elect Alex Otti.
Mr Otti’s victory ended the PDP’s on Abia since Nigeria returned to civil rule in 1999.
Ginger Onwusibe of the Labour Party scored 20,411 votes to defeat Mr Agbazuere, who polled 13,508 votes at the February 25 elections.
