Mr Okowa was Mr Abubakar’s running mate in the 2023 presidential election.
He thanked President Bola Tinubu for providing good leadership that had attracted more credible persons into the APC fold.
Mr Wike described the development as another endorsement of the president’s good governance.
The vice presidential candidate was accused of using the loot to acquire massive shares in UTM Floating Liquefied Natural Gas Company, among other investments in the oil sector.
Mr Okowa had, in a letter to the assembly, asked for approval to submit relevant documents to the Governors’ Forum on or before Wednesday.
He said his first two years in office were so turbulent that it was difficult to pay workers’ salaries, but his administration weathered the storm.
