Mr Grumnaan further told the court that there was another $200,000 Mr Ikechukwu-Ayoh received from the same person and handed to Mr Emefiele in his Lagos office.
The matter was adjourned until June 11 for the adoption of addresses in the trial-within-trial case.
Mr Emefiele is standing trial for alleged abuse of office and $4.5 billion and N2.8 billion fraud.
Mr Obiorah, who later became deputy governor, said the CBN board first heard of the naira redesign policy on December 15, 2022.
