The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Olalekan Balogun, has pledged his support to the EFCC in tackling illegal mining activities in Ibadan and other parts of the country.
“I implore you to cast your mind back to some of the issues raised as criticisms by your opponents during the electioneering and do something about them.”
Decrying that some banks were still dispensing old notes in their ATMs, the Olubadan urged CBN to ensure that the situation was reversed.
The demise of the immediate past Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji, paved the way for the upward movement of the senior chiefs.
“Any police that wants to be successful must have the support of the people.”
The court dismissed the suit for lack of merit.
