He said the state was committed to delivering strategic transport infrastructure.
Mr Wahab said the squatters had converted the underbelly of the new, yet-to-be-inaugurated Opebi-Mende bridge into homes and stores.
Mr Daramola said, “We undertook this repair to guarantee safety.”
Mr Daramola said the Sanwo-Olu administration remains committed to urban regeneration, road rehabilitation, and improving drainage systems.
He said his administration was determined to ensure the residents had unhindered access to facilities.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has appealed to landlords and landowners in Ifako-Ijaiye LGA not to increase rents of houses and shops.
He said that the projects were part of the governor’s pledge to deliver democratic dividends to the residents of the state.
The governor urged citizens to take responsibility for protecting the infrastructure.
Mr Daramola urged the participants to listen attentively, ask questions and share perspectives.
The governor’s aide said the state government was also working on a network of roads in Ikoyi, Abayomi, MacPherson, and Ilabere.
