NEPZA’s managing director, Olufemi Ogunyemi, said this at an interactive session with investors, security agencies and other stakeholders in Calabar on Wednesday.
He described NEPZA staff as the engine of the organisation.
NEPZA has appealed to the federal government to grant operators within Nigeria’s Special Economic Zones a 10-year exemption from the newly introduced tax laws.
Mr Ogunyemi reaffirmed the authority’s commitment to eliminate any violations of Nigerian laws within the zones.
The Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority has reiterated its commitment to ensure the implementation of the presidential directive on reducing domestic petroleum product prices.
Mr Ogunyemi said enhanced collaboration between government agencies is key to improving SEZ operations and delivering world-class services.
