The police command in Rivers has commenced a statewide enforcement exercise against vehicles with covered, obscured, defaced, unauthorised or unregistered number plates.

Ms Grace Iringe-Koko said the attack occurred at a filling station in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, on November 12, 2025.
The CP said the exhibits recovered from the suspects include 66 locally made guns, 34 pump-action guns, 21 AK-47 rifles, 10 English-made pistols, and two GMP guns.
