Ms Ezekwe urged the AGF to remain steadfast in her duties and ignore moves to remove her from office before her tenure expires in March 2025.
The accountant-general of the federation, Oluwatoyin Madein, lauded the administration of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq in Kwara on Thursday in Ilorin.
“We must remain watchful against the threats of corruption, fraud and financial mismanagement,” said the AGF
FAAc said that from the N1.127 trillion, the federal government received N383.872 billion, States got N396.693 billion and the LGCs N288.928 billion.
“Dear Npower Beneficiaries, I want to assure you all to remain calm and steadfast amidst the recent accusations and suspension I am facing,” said Ms Edu.
Ms Madein said Ms Edu flouted financial regulations by requesting that funds be wired into a private account.
Ms Edu, in a statement on her Facebook page on Saturday, said she was confronted with forces of corruption working against her mission.
“Such payment should be sent to the beneficiaries through their verified bank accounts,” she added.
Moving the motion, Mr Agbedi said the arrest warrant had become inevitable following the attitude of the invitees.
“In addition to our core jurisdictional mandate, we will be addressing the revenue and fiscal aspects of the various Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).”
