He noted that the items donated to the correctional centre were meant for the inmates.

The JTF commander, Rear Adm. John Okeke, who led the operation, said illegal refining of stolen crude oil was taking place at each site.
He said that no effort should be spared to bring the perpetrators to book.
He said no arrest had been made but that troops were currently on the trail of the operators of the seized vessel.
The Nigerian Air Force says it destroyed boats laden with stolen crude oil as part of efforts to thwart oil theft in the Niger Delta region.
He said the Nigerian Navy personnel were deployed to monitor the vessel’s loading and discharge.
