Ms Opalola called on registered voters in the state to go out and vote on election day.
“Government officials are therefore enjoined to employ the services of domestic staff and personal assistants to carry out such services,” the statement added.
The police said they have marching orders to “nip in the bud” peaceful protesters.
According to the spokesperson, the driver only abandoned the passengers after they stopped to help some accident victims on their way from Abuja to Lagos.
“At about 5.25 a.m. of the same day, within the space of three hours, the police and local security men rescued the kidnapped victim unhurt.”
