Mr Ojo noted that the project had been abandoned but was revived following President Bola Tinubu’s directive to complete stalled projects.
Mr Dada lauded the association’s members and harped on the need for unity to attract more infrastructural development to the school.
The Federal Housing Authority has commenced the construction of the Renewed Hope Housing Estate in Sobawa, Rigachikun, Kaduna.
Mr Ojo said the directive covered all construction works within the FHA estates mentioned.
While presenting the land documents to the FHA’s managing director, Mr Sani reiterated that building affordable housing was a key focus of his administration.
The governor pledged to compensate landowners for the construction of the 500 pilot housing units by the FHA in Kebbi.
Mr Ojo said that research showed a deficiency in the availability of affordable housing for citizens.
Mr Ojo said that the collaboration between FHA and the military would afford them proper and adequate housing.
This, he said, would reduce the costs and allow individuals to finish their houses based on affordability.
The federal government says plans are underway to build 1,000 housing units in Ondo as part of the first phase of its affordable housing initiative.
