“At 84 years of age, it would be unfair for young and able-bodied Nigerians to transfer to him responsibilities that properly belong to them,” Mr Obi reasoned.
Mr Tinubu said the cleric’s humility and wisdom continued to inspire millions within and outside Nigeria.
Mr Adeboye will be 84 on March 2.
The cleric stated that 2026 would be more remarkable than 2025.
Mr Adeboye stated that data from recent population surveys in Nigeria showed that singles and mature singles make up more than 40 per cent of the adult population
Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, will hold a one-day open crusade on Monday.
