The Zamfara chapter of PDP has commended the Federal High Court, Abuja Division, for upholding the party’s position on its national secretary.
Mr Abubakar warned that attacks on himself and Peter Obi undermine opposition unity and do not serve Nigeria’s interests.
Mr Aondo had appeared on December 5, 2025, the last adjourned date, for the Turaki-led faction of th PDP.
“In a democracy, such choices are neither unusual nor alarming, even when family and politics intersect,” said Mr Abubakar.
“Abubakar Atiku Abubakar’s decision to join the APC is a generational rebuke of recycled politics, expired ambitions, and the illusion of leadership without conviction,” APC said.
Mr Garba stated that the party was receiving new members from various political parties in the state.
