The group’s cordinator said that as a movement it would continue to raise the bar of participation in governance.
Former presidential candidate Peter Obi has condemned President Bola Tinubu’s government’s failure to pay allowances and bonuses to Super Eagles players.
“I even saw a video where he was pleading with his community not to let him down,” said Mr Soludo of Peter Obi.
As a presidential candidate in 2023, Mr Tinubu could only poll a sour 4,772 votes in Enugu.
Mr Oladejo said the outcome of the election reflected a decline in the Labour Party’s grassroots support and his Obedient Movement.
Mr Obi, the presidential candidate for LP in 2023, failed to win Polling Unit 019, Agulu Ward 11, Anaocha Local Government Area, for his anointed candidate.
Mr Obi noted that leaders must always remember that history would judge them by their actions and decisions.
The governorship election features 16 governorship candidates from different political platforms.
Mr Obi said Mr Ojukwu “was more than a figure in our history; he embodied courage, intellect, dignity, and firm conviction.”
“Peter Obi appears content only when Nigeria is under pressure, believing every challenge for the nation is an opportunity for his political resurrection,” said APC.
