Mr Obi listed unemployment, corruption, poverty, and inequality among the variables militating against security and peaceful co-existence in Africa.
“Your life continues to be a source of blessing, reflecting dedication, tireless work and commitment to God’s mission,” said Mr Obi.
“I’ve said it before: we have to show what is being removed and where it is being applied. You don’t know what the subsidy is today,” said Mr Obi.
He stressed the need to further explore the untapped potential in food production in Nigeria and other African countries.
SanjoMr Obi expressed his dissatisfaction with the performance of Team Nigeria despite the significant financial investment in the Olympic effort.
Mr Obi extended sympathies to families of the dead victims.
“Despite their valiant efforts, she sadly passed away after over two hours of intense struggle,” Mr Obi said.
“…Businesses I started in Nigeria…were either run aground or taken over by those entrusted with their management,” said Mr Obi.
“Needless to say that Nigeria is not in want of political jesters and jobbers whose stomachs are their gods,” the statement read.
Mr Obi urged Nigerians to protest without being violent and violating the law.
