The politician said his decision to remain in the ADC stemmed from the efforts he invested in building the party.
The defectors cited unresolved internal crises at all levels in the ADC for their decisions.

Mr Dickson urged Nigerians to reject the claim and focus on the party.
The APC stated that the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate was unwilling to build a political party.
“He can’t fight Atiku or Amaechi for the ticket of ADC,” he said.
According to him, Mr Obi is currently engaged in extensive consultations with key stakeholders and political allies.
“We remain focused on our mission to rescue Nigeria from the failure of the APC-led government,” he said.
“When workers suffer, the nation suffers. When workers are empowered, the nation prospers,” he said.
