The Lagos chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has urged the impeached Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu to be patient with the party.
Aggrieved PDP members in Lagos are up in arms against veteran politician Bode George.
Mr Aivoji said state police would address many of the country’s internal security problems.
He said only state governments that loved the people would take such a step.

Mr Alamutu assured that the police would apprehend the kidnappers.
The PDP charges the security agents to secure release of Mr Aivoji and others in kidnappers’ dens.
“We call on the public to support initiatives aimed at ending this threat to innocent lives,” he said.
The committee would be assisted by 18 directorates, headed by a deputy director.
Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa, the chairman of the electoral committee for the congress, announced the result on Monday.
