It also confirmed the nomination of Emem Usoro, Muhammad Dattijo, Philip Ikeazor and Bala Bello as the bank’s deputy governors.
“We will consider the screening of Dr Cardoso at the Committee of the Whole. Cardoso will be screened alongside four deputy governors.”
NANS urged the nominees to implement critical reforms at the CBN to bolster the confidence of Nigerians and stakeholders in the financial sector.
The meeting was earlier scheduled to be held on September 25 and 26.
